ARTS, MUSIC & DANCE
Art ClassesSpearfish ARTS School is a non-profit community learning center for arts and music education, serving needs of those who desire options for more art and music for their children. Art and music are taught in private instruction by group classes meeting weekly during the school year. Classes are for adults and for children of all ages, K-12. We are able to accommodate special needs students, ie. private and home school. All experience levels. Spearfish Arts School Beading, Pottery, Sewing & Photography ClassesWe offer classes in pottery including wheel throwing and hand building; photography; sewing and tie dying; beginner’s jewelry beading; and raku for all ages and skill levels. We also offer birthday parties, special events and summer art camps for kids. Date: Year ‘round classes Bellman Brown Bag SeriesThis lecture series will be the second Wednesday of each month, 12 - 1 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Call for details. The group meets regularly and sponsors local competitions, workshops, and student concerts. We have classes for adults and for children of all ages, pre-primary up in to elementary, middle, senior high. We are able to accommodate special needs students, ie. private and home school. All experience levels. Music fundamentals and building personal confidence through vocal coaching in breathing, pitch, confidence building and performance techniques. Learning to sing with confidence, dissolving emotional and mental barriers in finding your voice. Class duration: 1 hour weekly
